Why Labor And Delivery Nurses Are Rock Stars In Our Book

They Stay Calm When We’re Freaking Out
Having a baby is a tremendously stressful time in our lives. Even the most picture-perfect birth can bring a lot of anxiety. L&D nurses radiate calmness and zen and always seem to know what to say to help us work through our fears. It's a good thing, too, because when an emergency crops up, we need their support through the chaos.

Even the most mundane of tasks like that first time getting out of bed, can be anxiety-producing. One woman shared with us her nurse was worth her weight in gold the first time she had to stand up after a C-section and how careful and calm her nurse was, giving her time to move around.
