13. Gagging Is a Normal Response
While parents often worry about their babies gagging on chunks of food, that's part of the learning experience of baby-led weaning. Gagging helps them get food back toward the front of their mouths so they can chew it some more and swallow again. Watch them carefully, but they'll almost always work it out themselves.
