8. The Baby Blues
While the “baby blues” isn’t fun to have, the good news is, it’s short-lived. Coming home with a new baby turns your world around, and it might seem confusing to be feeling down during what’s supposed to be such a wonderful time in your life. 

The truth is, 70-80% of new moms experience a period of depressive symptoms after bringing home a baby. These symptoms typically last a few days before going away and the hormone shifts after having a baby are responsible. What’s important to understand is that the baby blues are different and less severe than postpartum depression.
