10. There's A Giant Cat Population In The Park

Disneyland has a surprisingly big stray cat population that lives permanently on its grounds. But the way the feral cats first got there is pretty interesting.

"In the 60's they had a massive rodent problem, so Walt released a bunch of stray cats into the park to hunt the rats and mice," a redditor explained. "They've since bred and gone feral. There's hundreds of them throughout Disneyland and DCA, most live in adventure land (more places to hide during the day). The park vets send teams out to feed/check on them periodically but for the most part the cat population just supports themselves."
