Things You Learn When Moving With Kids

What we've done instead of focus on missing things is to focus on how wonderful those things were. When she says she misses her Houston home, we ask, "What did you love about that home?" And we use it as an opportunity to talk about the happy memories we have from that home, and how those memories got to travel across the ocean with us.
