10. Resources Are Difficult
I'll never forget the first time I sat in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) office with our foster baby and our baby daughter. For three hours. I had no idea what I was doing or that it would take that long, and I was surrounded by mostly very young women with days-old babies trying to sign up for their formula allowance. Accessing resources for foster kids is far from easy, even when you have all the other resources at your fingertips.
