1. Sleep When The Baby Sleeps
This is probably the most common piece of advice given to new parents, and it would be nice if it was in any way reasonable. Newborn sleep is completely unpredictable, and most adults struggle to turn their brains off and fall asleep as soon as the baby does.

It's also the only time you have to clean, eat, and shower. You might squeeze a snooze in here and there, but if this isn't your first baby, you can forget about daytime napping.
