8. Don't Let Your Baby Cry
What... ever? As we've established, your baby needs your attention in order to grow emotionally, physically, and cognitively. However, to literally never allow your baby to cry is just plain unrealistic. There will be times when you will have to let them cry because you have to attend to an older child or go to the bathroom.

There's a danger in telling parents they have to respond to the crying. If you're frustrated and fear you may lose control, then the best thing you can do is walk away from your crying baby. Make sure they're in a safe place, breathe deeply, and regroup.
