Put A Hat On That Baby
Many well-meaning people (looking at you, knitters) will insist you need to cover your baby's head. After all, they put a hat on the baby right after birth. However, that's because the hospital is so cold — a shock to a baby coming from a nice, warm womb.
Once baby gets home, they really don't need a cap unless you're going outside and the weather dictates it. Babies are prone to overheating, so ditch the hat, and definitely never place one on your little one to sleep.
