4. Don't Swaddle
Just because it gives your mother-in-law the heebie-jeebies to see her grandbaby's movements restricted doesn't mean it's bad for them. Remind your MIL that swaddling mimics the womb and helps the baby fall and stay asleep.

That being said, you do need to observe safe swaddling guidelines, such as putting your baby on their back to sleep (which you should do anyway) and stopping when they start trying to roll.
