When Princess Diana was pregnant with her first child, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, in 1982, she brought out her sartorial A-game to highlight her changing silhouette. While attending a service in Westminster Abbey, the princess donned a Bellville Sassoon coat while five months pregnant.

David Sassoon, the designer, helped the royal become a fashion icon, and he became one of her favorite go-to designers. He created more than 70 gowns for her over the span of two decades. This coat was just one of his creations.
