These Baby Girl Names Will Be Most Popular In 2019

If only you had a crystal ball, you could look into the future and know exactly how popular the names you like will be by the time your kid starts kindergarten. While obviously this isn't an option, baby names do trend in cycles and looking at previous years can help predict which names will be most popular going forward. After all, the names with momentum usually stick around for at least a couple years.

The baby girl names on our list for 2019 have all shown either big jumps in the past couple years or have steadily made their way to the top of the charts. As such, we feel confident if you pick a name from our list you'll likely be in good company. However, that's not always such a bad thing. Certain names are popular for a reason, they're generally pretty great options! And, it's not such a big deal if your kid knows a couple other kids out there with the same name.

Our advice? Pick the name you love and don't worry so much about whether or not other people love it too. Either way, it's nice to know if you're picking a name that's going to be popular the year of your child's birth. Let's take a look.
