21. They Must Be Baptized
The British monarch has been the "Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England" since the 16th century, so baptizing royal children is non-negotiable. It's mandatory for the family's babies to be christened, and the sacrament is administered by the Archbishop of Canterbury who uses Holy Water from the Jordan River. Meghan Markle was even christened and confirmed by the Archbishop prior to marrying Prince Harry as a sign of respect to the Queen, so it would be virtually impossible for a royal parent to bow out of this tradition.
