If you need help getting your baby to latch, or latching is painful, meeting with a lactation consultant can be especially helpful. When a baby isn’t latching you really need to reach out to an International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners Consultant and get some hands on help. There could be some pretty easy solutions that involve placement of your hand, how you’re holding your baby or the baby’s position.
