"After my daughter was delivered by C-section, we discovered she had group-B strep pneumonia. Because the NICU in the hospital I delivered at was small, they took her by ambulance to a larger hospital further away. I was determined to be discharged as soon as possible to go to her, but I was also in so much pain. My doctor called the other hospital and had them meet me at the door with a wheel chair as soon as I was discharged. I lived on pain killers for the two weeks she was in the hospital."
