"I had an emergency C-section and was in pain the first day, but then was able to walk using tiny steps up to the NICU to see my son. After about a week things, like using the restroom, getting up from the couch or bed, or lifting my baby from his crib, were no problem. The incision healed mostly well except for two little spots, but that was taken care of easily. It took a little over a year for me to not feel pressure when walking a longer distance or trying to shove something heavier with my foot."
