I'm New Here
Nothing tests a marriage quite like deployment, especially for new spouses like Brianna:
"We got married in March 2014 while I was finishing grad school. I graduated and moved to Fort Riley, Kansas, at the beginning of June to meet up with Cody. He deployed at the end of that month.
I knew no one and almost nothing about military life. I signed the papers for a house, moved us in, found a job, made some friends, and waited for him to come home.
This redeployment ceremony was February 2015. I was convinced that he was not in the lineup, and that I was going to have to drive home alone, up until the moment I saw him walk through the door."
