Meet The World's Royal Teenagers

Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands is the 16-year-old daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. She is the eldest child and first in line to the Netherlands’ throne.

Her family line reportedly goes back to the 18th century, all the way to William I, who was the first king of the Netherlands and Grand Duke of Luxembourg. She became the heir to the throne when her grandmother, Queen Beatrix, abdicated the throne in 2013, allowing her father, then-Prince Willem-Alexander, to become King.
