Meconium
During pregnancy, fetal waste accumulates in your baby's intestines. This green substance is a newborn's first stool and is generally excreted shortly after birth. It's nothing to worry about unless it is aspirated in the womb or during delivery, in which case your baby will need immediate treatment.
