17. Time to yourself will take on a whole new meaning.
I use the bathroom with an open door and often share my shower with a three-year-old. When I manage to get a few minutes to myself, they’re usually spent doing some kind of chore. While everyone says the dishes will wait, who the heck is going to do them if I don’t? I laugh that I felt so time constrained by my first baby. Now I share the little time I have not caring for a baby with my three-year-old and maybe my husband, if he’s lucky. Forget time for just me. The solution? Multi-tasking and carving out five minutes here and there.
