How To Survive Your First Trimester Of Pregnancy
13.
If You’re Bleeding
Bleeding can be a sign of miscarriage, but it can also mean other things such as a subchorionic hemorrhage which is where a part of the placenta detaches from the wall of the uterus which sounds really scary, but oftentimes resolves on its own. Different from this is spotting, which according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, can mean many different things. The maddening thing about bleeding in any stage of pregnancy is that it can be OK or it can be a sign that something is wrong. Any sort of bleeding should always be followed up with by your doctor as soon as possible to find the cause of it.
