Tell Your Child Before It Happens
Don’t surprise them by walking up to the front doors of the clinic. Some kids like being prepared the night before, but if you know your child will become agitated during the wait, it may be better to let them know when they are in the car. You know your child best, so you can gauge when it’s the best timing to tell them something.
