9. Slip It In
It's totally OK to be sneaky when introducing new foods. Yes, you want your kid to learn to like a variety of foods, but while you're waiting for that palate to develop, you can ensure more nutritional well-roundedness by hiding healthier options in things like smoothies, meatballs, and muffins. 

It's also a good idea to pair a food your child already likes with the new food, like mango slices over cereal.
