How To Deal With Picky Eaters

8. Limit Snacks
We're a culture of snackers—American moms are notorious for having a diaper bag full of fruit snacks and crackers (*guilty*). You don't have to curb all snacking (after all, hell hath no fury like a hangry toddler), but consider that a hungry child is more likely to eat at mealtime.

Establish a (healthy) snack schedule and stick to it. If your kid knows they only eat at certain times, they're more likely to consume what's offered. If you don't buy the goldfish in the first place, they'll eat the string cheese and apple slices.
