15. Try A Behavioral Intervention
Your therapist may decide that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is the best approach for you. In CBT, your counselor may help you identify the inaccurate thoughts behind your depression, encourage you to take part in pleasurable activities, and help you develop better problem-solving skills.  They should also give you techniques to practice at home, like journaling and cognitive restructuring.
