When you're postpartum, you will more than likely get offers of help. Learn to say yes. Friends and family members can help you with household tasks, running errands, preparing meals, and caring for your child. If they know about your mental health challenges, they can connect you with resources, drive you to appointments, and be a listening ear. They can't do any of that if you insist that everything is OK.
