It's the blessing and the curse of parenting in this day and age: we almost always have a phone at our fingertips. It means that we have access to information that can calm our worrying heads and allow us to get a little sleep when our little ones are sick or acting strangely. But it also means there's a constant temptation to check social media all day long, drawing us away from our kids repeatedly throughout the day. 

Social media is so tricky to navigate when you're a parent — whether and how much to share, how much time you spend on it, and how it makes you feel when you see something that makes your life pale in comparison. There are pros and cons and it's up to each one of us to decide where to draw the line for our own families.
