How To Choose The Perfect Preschool For Your Child

When To Apply
Think about the age you're looking for your child to start preschool. Some schools offer programs for children as young as two years old. Some start at age 3 or 4. In general, if you start shopping about a year in advance, you should have plenty of time Tour the schools you're interested in to rule out programs that aren't a good fit. Don't apply until you've narrowed your search.

Applying to preschool can be a bit of an undertaking, but worry not. Check the school website, if there is one, or, better yet, call the school directly to ask about the application process. Ask when the application deadline falls, if there’s a wait list, and what the cost is to apply.
