Body image has been on the top of everyone's list of things to tackle since we hit puberty, and not much has changed for our kids' generation. Here's the thing, if we can't beat the cycle of shame for ourselves, let's do it for them. Don't call yourself fat. Don't say how old you look. Don't say how cute you were when you were young. You're still cute, and better than that, you are a version of you that has learned and experienced and loved yourself into a Cinderella transformation that's not going to go all pumpkin on you when you click over to a different number on the scale.

Work toward your goals, but do it with love and an emphasis on health and you will glow, baby.
