I can find a million excuses to stay inside all day long. There's cleaning up after lunch, and cleaning up after play lunch, there's calls to return, and Hulu to watch — but getting out in the sun and air is one of those things that really needs to be a non-negotiable check mark on my daily list. Besides the health benefits, getting outdoors is a mood booster and it boosts your energy too, simply by the act of moving your body.

Outside doesn't have to mean a sprawling park or pastoral backyard, it can be a walk down your city street after dinner. Grab your coat and your kids and get out there!
