Prioritize Self-Care
You cannot take care of your children if you are neglecting your own needs. It's easy to skip a meal given the frantic pace of your day, but you'll pay for it when your blood sugar drops.

It's not just about your physical self, though. You need to put your mental health at the top of your list, too. Do something that feeds your spirit at least once a day, whether that's (non-childrearing-related) reading for 20 minutes, a spa pedicure, or something else.
