Traveling with kids is totally different than traveling before kids. You sleep less, you wake up earlier, and you probably can't enjoy nearly as many leisurely meals sitting in the sunshine. However, it's also wonderful to see new places through your kids' eyes. Even my two-year-old, I'm amazed at what she notices is different from her home, and it always reminds me that she's smarter than I give her credit for.

We've traveled domestically and internationally with our young kids and we are even more excited to graduate to activities that are a little more involved than parks and splash pads, although those do make our kids pretty happy no matter where we are.
