If you've always wanted unsolicited advice, then having kids is definitely for you. It starts when you're pregnant  ("Don't stretch your arms above your head" and other nonsense) and ends just short of never ("I wouldn't do that if I were you" is applied equally to toddlers as to teenagers).

From your pediatrician to your mom to the person behind you at the grocery checkout, just about everyone has an opinion about how you should raise your children. And all those helpful books and blogs aren't so beneficial when they paralyze your parenting.

Some tips are worth your consideration, but quite a lot of them are just plain awful. If it starts with "back in my day," it's a pretty safe bet it's fake news.
