1. Learn About The Infant Potty Training Method
In much of the non-Western world, infant potty training is the rule as opposed to the exception. In places like Southeast Asia, India, and parts of Africa, bare bottoms are the norm. Parents pay close attention to their baby's cues and take them to go in the desired receptacle. These babies often learn to hold it and eliminate on a verbal cue.

Some Western parents have adopted this method and dubbed it "elimination communication." Parents use timing, signals, and good old intuition to recognize baby's needs, so they can allow them to pee and poop in the appropriate place. Baby stays clean and dry, but of course, they're not trained in the sense of independently making the trip to the potty.
