I was superstitious before the arrival of our first baby and refused to buy so much as a onesie before we knew she was on her way to us. With just six hours notice before she joined our family by adoption, that might have been a mistake on my part — a mistake that meant I never quite managed to put together her nursery. Now that she's three, it's a little late for cribs and changing tables, but that doesn't stop me from ogling beautiful baby rooms on the regular.
Choosing what your baby's room is going to look like and making it the coziest spot for those hours of cuddling and feeding, is high on the list for many expectant moms. But not having actually met your baby can make choosing so many features a little difficult. The best advice is perhaps to find a room that inspires you and start building in some of those elements and colors.
Begin with the basics and remember that your baby won't have an opinion on the decor for at least a year or two, so now's your time to make it a space you'll enjoy!
