A divorce or separation can be devastating to go through. So many do, but it can still be a very lonely place. There's the burden of needing to take on the work of the other parent, which often includes finances as well. 

After-school activities, chores, and discipline all fall mostly on one of the parents. Trying to juggle all this while still communicating with children how loved and cherished they are is more than a full-time job. 

We talked to moms in all life stages about the most challenging parts of parenting after separation because oftentimes its hard to understand the unique struggles of raising kids solo without having gone through it. And, for those who have, it's nice to know you're not alone.
