Let Them Fail
Failure is how we learn. If everything a child does is easy and immediately successful, they won’t ever have to stretch or change or be brave enough to try again. That said, it isn’t always easy to watch our children try something that we know is going to crash and burn. We want to protect them. We want to give them the best. But childhood is the only time when we can try and fail safely. Our job is to be their safety net to catch them and bounce them back to their feet so they can give it another go.
