7. Things To Do In New York City
Iceskating with your family at Rockefeller Center during the holidays is a scene straight out of the movies. Aim for the evening to fully enjoy the lights. Also make time to do some holiday shopping and see the over-the-top decorations in the stores, and then satisfy cravings for any type of world cuisine in the amazing restaurants.

If that's not enough, put all the regular New York City tourist stops on your agenda, from visiting the Statue of Liberty, to paying tribute at the World Trade Center memorial and walking through a wintery Central Park. Make sure to also visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is decked out for Christmas with a stunning tree, and is worth visiting even with small children, (as long as you're willing to adjust your expectations and move quickly).
