In John Hughes’ timeless classic, Mr. Mom, Jack Butler enters the school drop-off backwards, in the rain, only to be honked at by everyone else and told by one of his wife’s friends, “You’re doing it wrong.”

Parenting is one of those experiences where doing it wrong actually teaches us how to do it better, if not right. The problems we solve change every day, sometimes even every hour or by the minute. Remember how hard it was to clip your baby’s nails the first (five) times? Or to swaddle just so that little piece of fabric tucks in tight in front?

Dads don’t always have years of babysitting experience like moms often do, but they dive into parenting to tackle situations head on. A big shout out to the dads who shared their stories here.
