Choose A Small Chair
You don’t need a rocking chair with a big footprint when there are only a few steps between your bed and your baby’s crib. A small cozy chair next to the crib can be enough to snuggle up and feed. It is tempting to want to sit in bed for those late night feedings, but it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. It can be rough on your back, disruptive to your sleeping partner (and if you’re taking shifts, you’ll want to let them sleep), and you may be tempted to fall asleep.
