About that fish. Fish is another area that can be super confusing to tackle. We know that fish is really good for you because of its high omegas content, but that's only one side of the coin. 

Because of our farming practices and ocean health some fish species have been victim to overfishing, fishing practices that decimate the ocean's ecosystem, and buildup of toxins, including mercury in their flesh. Fortunately there are some good guidelines out there, and if you ever feel stuck at a market or restaurant you can pull up the Seafood Watch website or app in your phone.

In the meantime, stick to wild caught Alaskan salmon or mackerel, and pole caught albacore tuna if you need a good sandwich fix!
