While Mother's Day and Father's Day can sometimes put a little extra pressure on the kids (or the spouses) to make something incredible happen, most parents simply want to be appreciated. Rather than stock your Amazon cart full of products, what about making something that will show your dad that you wanted to take the time to make something for him? 

Almost every year I made my dad something for Father's Day, but looking back, half of it was pretty useless. This list of DIY Father's Day presents is full of ideas that are way more useful and creative than anything I ever came up with over the years.
