With Disney raising the price of park tickets at a rate that seems to have no limit, many families are feeling priced out of a Disney vacation. The most magical place on Earth is hard to swallow when you’re struggling just to pay for tickets to get in. When you get there, you’ll need to eat and your kids are going to want souvenirs and you will have to sleep at some point and yikes — it adds up quickly!

Disneyland ticket prices start at over $100 per day for just one of the two parks. Disneyworld tickets are the same, but for one of four parks. If you’re staying in a Disney hotel, you can expect to pay at least $300 per night. There are ways to save on a Disney trip for sure, but you can’t escape the fact that the mouse is just expensive. In fact, for most families, it is too expensive.
