Bake A Pie From Scratch
It takes time but that's the point. Slow life down by starting with the crust (hint: Crisco makes it easier to work with). Canned pumpkin is fine or you can use fresh or frozen fruit. The final product doesn’t have to be pretty or perfect. Just cover it in whipped cream and it will taste and look great.

A second pie is often in order when (somehow) double the filling is made. Take slices to your neighbors to share the holiday spirit.
